Both cottages, Poppies and Iris, have strong
southwestern features and decor. From the tile floors and
adobe style fireplaces to the king-size beds with down comforters
and views of the pond. You will also find a collection of
easy reading books, backgammon, chess, and a CD player.There
are limited kitchen areas with microwaves, sinks,and under
counter fridges. You will, however, find all the comforts
of home with a coffee pot, kettle, tea pot, and dishes. A
great supply of coffees, teas, hot chocolate and popcorn for
you to enjoy.
French doors open onto your own private
deck that looks over the gardens and pond area. Here you can
sit and relax as hummingbirds feed close by. The mallards
return each year to raise their young on the nearby ponds
and over the years they have become quite tame. Don't be surprised
if while relaxing on the deck they come over for a visit and
hand feeding. (Proper food is supplied in each unit
during duck season Mar.-Oct.)

the most romantic rooms await. The bathrooms. Each unit has
it's own unique bathroom. Featuring heated slate floors, natural
stone countertops, walk-in showers with duel showerheads, soaker
tubs and that wonderful view of the pond and gardens. A supply
of aroma-therapy products, bath bubbles, candles, lush terry
robes and fresh flowers will help to make your experience a
truly memorable one. |
